One day while speaking on marriage, Elder Kimball is quoted as saying, “Brethren, there isn’t one man in a thousand who knows how to treat his wife.”  As the sisters nodded in agreement and nudged their husbands, he continued, “Sisters, there isn’t one women in TEN thousand who knows when she is well treated.”  (J. Golden Kimball’s Golden Moments, p. 65.)

Two young women who attended the same single’s ward were talking with one another.  Sarah said, “I hear Derrick proposed to you.  Did he happen to mention that he proposed to me first?”

Trying not to show her surprise, Monica replied, "Not specifically. However, he did say he had done some foolish things before he met me.” (Stories and Jokes of Mormon Folks, p. 100)
