He is mentioned on an average of once every 1.7 verses in the Book of Mormon while in the New Testament He is referred to on an average of once every 2.1 verses.

Name references for Jesus Christ are not distributed equally throughout the Book of Mormon. There are fewer references to Christ during periods of apostasy, military or political intrigue, or war.
